Agricultural Technology and Food Salon

According to the National Science Foundation, women comprise only 43 percent of the U.S. workforce for scientists and engineers (under 75 years old).

To highlight the importance of seeing women in our current work force making strong impacts on food science, public health and agriculture was excited to present this event just ahead of the International Day of the Girl Child — the International Food Information Council convened several women who are impacting science, food systems and the public in order to present you with IFIC’s first Agricultural Technology and Food Salon.
