Jenny Phillips joined the International Food Information Council (IFIC) as the Manager, Communications in May 2019, where she handles media monitoring and reporting, manages all social media channels, as well as external communication campaigns and strategies. She brings eight years of communications experience to the team, previously working in nonprofit and educational settings, including teaching abroad in the Czech Republic and South Korea. The main thread is a love of communications and relationship building through storytelling and understanding.
Jenny has a BA in Spanish and Communications with a focus on mass media and journalism from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
When she’s not ‘gramming food tips, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen, collecting historic cookbooks, or escaping to her family’s cottage in Upstate NY.
