Kris Sollid, RD

Senior Director, Nutrition Communications

Kris Sollid is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for improving nutrition science communications. As the Senior Director, Nutrition Communications at the International Food Information Council (IFIC), Kris leads IFIC’s nutrition team. Since joining IFIC in 2009, his role has included creating continuing professional education resources, leading consumer research projects, engaging with social and traditional media and authoring articles for IFIC’s website, as well as external consumer and peer-reviewed publications. 

Kris has earned degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder (BA in Geography) and the University of Maryland, College Park (BS in Dietetics). He is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a past President of DCMAND, the Academy’s District of Columbia Metro affiliate.
