This free, 60-minute IFIC Expert Webinar explores pressing consumer food safety concerns. This event featured a presentation by Dr. Kristi Muldoon Jacobs, Director of the FDA’s Office of Food Additive Safety. Dr. Jacobs outlined the FDA’s approach to evaluating the safety of food additives and ingredients and shed light on the critical role of food toxicologists in ensuring the safety of food ingredients. Given that the 2024 IFIC Food & Health Survey revealed a significant drop in confidence in the safety of the U.S. food supply—now at just 62%—it is essential for health professionals and key opinion leaders to understand the collaborative efforts involved in safeguarding the food supply.

This webinar is presented in collaboration with the Advisory Council of JIFSAN-CFS3.
