Insights from the International Food Information Council (IFIC) Spotlight Survey, Perception of Low- and No- Calorie Sweeteners & Added Sugars in a Healthy Diet, indicate that while more than half of Americans report limiting or avoiding added sugars, 43% anticipate difficulty following a diet without them, and 40% say low- and no-calorie sweeteners (LNCS) help them reduce added sugar intake. This webinar will examine consumer perspectives alongside current scientific evidence on added sugars and LNCS, including their effects on body weight, safety considerations, intake recommendations, and roles within overall dietary patterns.
