Research
IFIC’s consumer research focuses on attitudes and behaviors surrounding nutrition, food safety and food production. Our annual Food & Health Survey provides information about how Americans connect our food and food purchasing decisions to our physical health and overall wellbeing.
IFIC’s survey findings inform federal regulatory decisions, provide members with insights into consumer values and behaviors and help to shape our public communications and education initiatives. Our consumer research is often done in partnership with stakeholders across sectors and we welcome collaboration with government agencies, NGOs, academics and professional organizations.
The results of most of our consumer surveys are free to download from our content hub, Food Insight, and can be used or shared without adulteration and with proper attribution to IFIC.
